Fishing Boats in Wexford, Ireland

There wasn't a whole lot to do in Wexford...besides walk along the Quay and take pictures of the boats tied to the pier. I liked this shot in particular; it was taken at around 8pm, the air was cool and damp, and the boats in the foreground draw your attention to the sailboat in the distance.

Charles Fort in Kinsale, Ireland

I was able to take this photo by sneaking past a "Danger: Do not enter" sign, blocking off the section of Charles Fort with the best ocean views. Charles Fort, a star-shaped fort occupied by the British army until Irish Independence in 1921, was designed with the goal to protect against those attacking from sea. As a result, the fort boasts thick, high stone walls and an intricate design that accounted for trapping cannon balls that might have been shot off from these ships at sea.

A Castle in Germany

I recently had the good fortune of attending a wedding in Germany. It was here that the wedding couple had their reception. It was one of the most breathtaking settings I've ever seen, complete with fields of sheep, as well as wild black swans and peacocks roaming the property. This picture shows the moat and the great expanse of woods that extends beyond the castle for miles.
